Hyderabad, India: Minister Talasani Srinivas Yadav warns Butchers not to contaminate beef with mutton. Butcher shop owners have to behave responsibly during the lockdown, say’s the minister.
The Orange zone areas of the Telangana state have found to sell mutton at a peak rate of up to 1200/Kg. Meanwhile, due to lack of stock, minister Talasani had warner butchers not to mix beef as a form of mutton to consumers.
Special task forces are allotted for further surveillance. Butcher sop owners mainly under MUTTON and CHICKEN were forewarned for the price hikes.
In an interview with TV9 – Telugu Reporter. Six teams are in action to investigate the prices of Mutton and Chicken across the state. Lawful charges will be made on those who dramatically increase the price on demand. The government of Telangana had officially fixed 700 Rupees for Mutton per Kilogram.
